I think it would depend if you are a regular coffee drinker or not. I am interested to hear what other people have to say. For myself I have not noticed any lessening of the effects of tripping after having a coffee.

I find caffeine to go well with all psychedelics, but no milk/cream, just black. The milk and crap is to heavy and gassy on the tum tum, not cool when dosed to the gills.

I don't understand the purpose. Especially with LSD, what is the point? It's a speedy, electrified trip anyway.

You can feel the stimulation more so than being sober. But it does not feel it effects the same receptors. You can not overcome the end of trip drained feeling with caffeine.

Last time I tripped on LSD I specifically got coffee 20-30 minutes before I dosed. Sometimes I get headaches after using psychedelics and find a bit of caffeine can help with it. Coffee is one of my favorite drinks though, always black. Coffee goes well with just about everything IMO.

Whenever I am at the end of a trip and have a headache, I pop 2 excedrin, which is like 160mg caffeine. I don't have a tolerance for it anymore, so that much has a strong effect.
However, I can NEVER feel caffeine on LSD, if you are looking for an added effect, look else where... LSD in itself overpowers nearly all other stimulation with it's own.

hmmm, I have never had head pains from trippin, but I just love hot coffee in my body when I am dosed, it feels cool, all warm and bubbly in your belly.

I like it. I don't generally drink coffee a lot unless I need to (studying for exams, or having to stay up past 3-4am to get stuff done) but I sometimes will get a random urge to have a cup every now and again just for shits.
Generally while under the influence of LSD I find it easier to notice the more subtle effects of other drugs but with an energized jolt from the LSD. Almost like the LSD gives me a better baseline consciousness to mix drugs with. Like for example I've always felt that drinking alcohol while on LSD is everything awesome about alcohol minus the shitty parts. IE no nausea, and more in control but still the feeling of being drunk in the background while still having the effects of the LSD in the foreground of thought.
I remember one day I was in the middle of a acid trip and decided to grab some coffee because it was chilly and the warm liquid sounded appealing. Drank it and noticed what coffee usually does. Gave me a spike in energy, but this time combined with the LSD energy boost as well. I believe I was running around the house for awhile right after that unable to sit still. So I guess it does what you'd expect it to do. Thats my experience at least, there really is only one way for you to tell though. Drop of blotter and drink some coffee for yourself.
Edit: Forgot to answer the question. It in no way, at least from my experience, diminished the acid trip. It made me a little restless because I drank 2-3 cups right off the bat but that faded faster then it normally would. If anything the LSD diminished the coffees effects.
