Do you have any good ones? I have one but I hardly ever use it. I know you can throw in pretty much anything and have a meal at the end of the day.

Well, I really like lentil soup where you place a few cups cheap brown lentils with some large diced potatoes carrots onions celery, some soy sauce and pepper, and just let it cook out. It's a stew really. Pretty healthy and vegetarian.

Throw in a pork tenderloin and some veggies, a few spices. A while later you have a very yummy meal.

For dessert "cream burlee"
10 egg yolks, mix with half cup sugar.
scald 1 qt. heavy cream mixed with half cup sugar.
Temper cream mixture into egg mixture till up to temp. Add 1 tbs. vanilla ext.
Add cofee liquor to mixture, about maybe 6 or 8 oz. depending on your taste. Ladel mix. into cofee cups, put cups in a water bath in a 4 inch hotel pan, put in 325 degree oven , bake about 30 to 40 mins.
When set, place in walk in/frig. for several hours till cold & firm.
To serve, sprinkle sugar over the surface of the burlee, carmelize with a torch, top with whip cream, a sprinkel of cinn., and a chocolate coffe bean. Biscotti cookies add a nice touch.
When you find your self saying " What the fuck "Fish", " this is like way toooo involved", realize that this is just one of my deserts this month.

Ham and beans are wonderful via a crock pot. Rinse and soak your beans for 24 hours and throw in a ham hock with some chopped onion and garlic. Let that beast cook on low for a day or 2 and you got some serious tasty chow!

I like to buy a big pork roast and let it cook all day. Then when I get home I pull it out, it comes out in chunks, remove most of the fat, drain it, then shred the pork and add your fav bbq sauce and let it cook for another hour or so.

ehh, im too high to jot down an exact recipe, but the trust ole crock pot can produce some mean venison stew(or beef if you prefer), meatloaf, macaroni, bean recipes of all sorts. One of my favorites is pork loin marinated in a mixture of mustard, pineapple juice and soy sauce, then wrapped in bacon and left to cook in all its glory.

Here's a huge collection of slow cooker recipes. That is by far my favorite recipe website online because of the rating and review feature.
