PF cakes not pinning

Hello everyone, this is my first grow, inoculation and colonization went perfect, only 1 contam out of 8 jars, the jars colonized quickly (around 2 weeks) and everything seemed like it was going really well, but now it's been around 2.5-3 weeks since I placed them in the FC (prior to it I dunked them for around 20 hours and rolled) and they still haven't pinned, only half (3/6) have grown a few pins on the bottom of the cake but they aborted quickly when I flipped them, but on the bottom they had no room to grow and they would have aborted anyways. The humidity in the FC was high (the walls and bottom of the lid had heavy water condensation) so at first I thought it was a FAE problem. I drilled a few more holes on the FC and then the cakes quickly started bruising badly, they started to lose the mushroomly smell and the FC seemed dry, even though I was misting twice the times I was before (misted 4 times a day instead of 2). 3 days ago I taped some holes on the FC and dunked and rolled the cakes again, 90% of the bruising went away but the cakes still smell neutral and there's still no pinning, the FC is looking real humid though. I fan around 4 times a day and mist twice, I have them next to a window so they recieve inderect sunlight for around 11 hours, temps have dropped around 10ÂșC though. I really don't know what else to do, if I still have to keep waiting I will, but I just want to know if it's just pointless or not at this point and have to throw the cakes in the bin or not. Anyways, thanks for your time.

Make a sgfc to spec. Don't tape holes or add any. Use the same amount of perlite it says to. Keep it as high off the ground as the tek says. Follow it to the T!
What does your FC look like right now?

Drill bottom and get it lifted off the table with empty jars or something.

The condensation on the sides of the fc don't relate to humidity , just temperature differences between the inside and outside of the fc. What you need is more perlite in that bad boy and to life the tub off of the table at least an inch with something like wide mouth halfpint jars hope everything goes well dude, keep misting and fanning away!

Did you let your cakes consolidate for at least a week after they fully colonized?
Check out the SGFC link in my sig and follow the directions to the T. There is no reason why you should be taping holes.
I'd personally pick the cakes up to see how heavy they are and if they're light, then give them another dunk since they've been sitting for about 3 weeks. Also don't over mist them. You want your cakes to lightly glisten after misting and then fan.
Do some more reading!

I am doing a grow right now and only got pins on one batch of cakes a full 24 days after fruiting. The forst pin of these late bloomers matured at an unusually small size, and I would expect that it is because of water logging from over misting. It's strange, as I misted at the same schedule as my other SGFC and it did beautifully, even 6 other cakes in the chamber with these late bloomers did wonderfullym which leads me to also suspect genetics, but an inability to tell about such things as I used a spore syringe and I'm guessing you did too, but stop misting them, why did you turn the cakes over? Mushrooms grow however they want...it will grow along the bottom and literally lift the cake into the air to grow up and out.
