Just trying to look for signs of knots. I've had these cakes in my SGFC since the 24th.

Just misted and fanned them. So I got this little patch that was coming in when I first put them into my FC and its been SLOWLY growing but looking like its dying for the past 5-6 days. Should I just leave them or pluck em?

(red overcast on the bottom right of 2nd pic is verm/light contrast)

This is my SGFC

Took me like 2 hours to drill all those holes -,-
After I put my perlite in my SGFC I didn't poke through the holes with anything but a few hours ago I took a chopstick and poked some holes in the perlite through every single hole that had perlite.

I'm hoping so!! So what should I do about that small cluster I posted above? Just let it keep going?
Since my brother dropped my SGFC the other day and there is some perlite stuck on some cakes idk if its perlite or knotting :|
As I said though, I'm keeping a written log of everything with pictures so I want to know what is good and bad and have some knowledge of what stuff is for future reference!
Here are two other cakes, now I'm not sure if those are knots or perlite or what it could be -,- I def know some of the bigger pieces are perlite

I would feel too horrible lol. I use to be a little bad ass kid with a horrible anger issue, then I started that green stuff. Now I'm always peaceful
But anyways, these are indeed knots though?

First pics (top view) they're dry and not knots.
2nd set (pins) are also dry and need a misting. Maybe get them away from the sgfc wall
3rd set of pics is definitely knotting! I don't see it glistening wet though. Your cakes need to be glistening wet 24/7. If they look dry they need a gentle mist. Just make sure to have no pooling water.
How deep is your perlite? Should be no less than 4 inches deep. 5 or 6 inches is way more ideal.
