Hi all!
First time picker here. I was not intentionally searching for anything today but happened to accidentally come across a large number of mushrooms (these, plus a very large number of amanitas). I am on holidays and have very limited resources, so have not been able to take spore prints, which I understand can make it difficult to confirm. Future picks back in Sydney will include prints. I was totally unprepared for a hunt. :P
A big thanks to anyone who might otherwise still take a look for me.
Habitat: These were all picked in the same area. Some were picked on woodchips in a garden and some were picked under a line of pine trees, amongst foliage from the trees. They were found near a very large number of amanitas. Both of these areas were side by side. This was in the Illawarra area, at an elevation of 709 Metres above sea level
Gills: Vary from a light brown to a dark brown
Stem: Varied (please see pictures)
Cap: Varied (please see pictures)
Spore print color: I would love to be able to perform spore prints but I am currently on a holiday and am in a VERY basic hotel room.
Bruising: Some of the stems seemed to bruise blue to some extent.

They're all Psilocybe subaeruginosa. Just check for blue bruising on each specimen before consumption.

Awesome job with your first pick not ripping out the mycelium.
I'll be leaving you 5 shrooms in a moment for your good effort as a first timer. Keep up the good work mate

Thanks mate.
Just wanted to make sure they'd be there for another adventurer in the future.
