I think that they are in the bunker in Area 51, the signals in my head keep going off, had to use the last of the foil for Thanksgiving dinner.
Do you know what "proof" is? why in the name of fucking god would bush be outside for any extended period of time on Iraq? 1) the numerous, ununiformed terrorists 2) The blazing hot weather 3) The dinner was indoors 4) The sand
Which one...

American military morale hit an all-time low this week in the wake of revelations that President George Bush didn't serve a display turkey to hungry troops during his surprise visit to Baghdad last week. Political experts have already dubbed the episode "turkeygate," and predict that the effect of this latest Bush administration scandal will be even more devastating than the outing of Valerie Plame.
"When I went home after dinner that night, I wrote a letter to my wife about how proud I was to fight for liberty," said an unnamed Army staff sergeant, "but when I learned that not a single soldier ate the display turkey, even though the president was photographed holding it, my faith in democracy was shattered."
Another soldier added, "We suddenly realized that we're risking our lives to defend a lie. He mocked us with the pretty bird, then served us the common steamtable turkey. What good is freedom, if you can't trust your leaders?"

Did you realy think that they were gong to get a REAL turkey for thanksgiving?
No, they cook up processed turkey loafs for the men and women, powdered gravy and instant potatoes... Its tha tradition...
Propably the best meal they get but what a good chance to make America think that our troops get a slow roasted, home cooked meal for the holidays with all the trimmings...
I still think that he NEVER flew to Baghdad. I believe that the entire thing was filmed in a hangar somewhere in the US with paid US Military actors who get out of doing combat for their roll in "civil media defence"...

What part of the economic recovery is fake?
...his fake war on terror...
The captured terrorists are fake? Which ones?
Who would stage a fake meal? What kind of sick fucking mind concieves of such a thing?
What on earth are you busting a blood vessel over? There was no fake meal... the troops got a turkey dinner. For a while Bush got behind the counter and slopped some of those yummy Army goodies onto plates. There have been pictures posted in this forum that show him doing just that.
So he also grabbed a platter with a "display bird" from the end of the counter, hoisted it up and probably made some lame-ass corny Bush joke while a press corps photographer clicked away. So what? What kind of sick fucking mind turns this into some kind of major scandal?
Some of you people REALLY need to get a life.
I can understand lying about getting a blowjob...but lying about serving dinner?
Again, he didn't lie about serving dinner. He actually served a bunch of troops dinner from behind the counter of the chow line.
Too much...too much funny...
What's too much and too funny is the incredible amount of energy the Angry Left is assigning to this. If it weren't so pathetic, I'd be laughing my ass off.

If I understand correctly, Bush sailed to Iraq in the Mayflower.
If someone could confirm this I would be much interested.
Thanks.

Much like his recent lying about not having the "Mission Accomplished" banner put up on the aircraft carrier, this is another example of Bush's dishonesty. Once again he's used the troops for his own benifit. Only this time on a much smaller scale in comparison to sending them out to war for oil. I hope you don't trust people who lie to you this much in real life.

Dude, your monomania about "Bush lied" and "Bush knew" is seriously not good for your psychological health.
What on earth about that footage in any way shape or form constitutes a lie? The man hoisted a decorative platter in the air for thirty seconds or so, then went on with his visit to the troops. Get over it.

So a camera guy takes a pic of him holding the deco bird and an editor puts a caption "bush serves turkey to troops" on it then someone says "hey, that was just a deco bird" and now bush lied? It would seem that the media lied to you not Bush. Only question is did the media do it on purpose.

I think there are some issues that matter, and some that don't.
So he didn't serve anyone turkey, big deal. There are real issues to be dealt with.
