Got yourself a hangover to reckon with?
Well, this easy to make drink is sure to get your head out of the toilet and get you back on your feet in no time.
Aptly named "Bloody Beer" after its predecessor "Bloody Mary" this drink gives you an essential shot of the vitamins your body needs after a night of getting shitty, and you get your buzz back on
Ingredients: V-8 or any tomato based vegitable cocktail Louisiana Hot Sauce or Tobasco 1 can or bottle of your favorite beer
I like mine hot and spicy, I suppose this step could be optional, but if you like em HOT add a few splashes of your favorite hot sauce.
I mix mine half and half. After I get half of the first one down I add some ice.
Now thats good drinkng

Yup.... Gatorade is by far the best for a hangover. I make myself drink a large Gatorade before going to sleep to prevent ever getting a hangover in the first place.

whats in it? somtimes thsoe pills have activated charcoal as an ingredeint. to get rid of soem of the congeners. the only thing u can do is take in sugar/salt water. electrlytes in water are teh best way to rehydrate yrou body. your body goes into toxic mode and u piss out mst water u drink, unless it has the electrolytes.

The drink you mentioned is called a red eye and usually you take a beer stein and pour the tomato juice in the center after the beer and it stays in the center.
But my opinion is that a joint, a stiff drink, and pepcid, ibuprofen, and an antihistamine all together will cure you of the hangover, and anything else. I lived this reality for ten years. But hey, that's the cook's life.

Taking ibuprofen can cause stomach bleeding if combined with alcohol on a regular basis. Ibuprofen isn't particularly nice on the GI if you commonly use non-steroidal anti-inflamatory-type drugs in the first place... but with alcohol's a big
The drink in the topic of this thread sounds interesting though. I'd probably take a shortcut and just get a can of that V8spicy stuff. I tried it once and didn't care much for it, but thinking back it did have a unique flavour - wouldn't use this for a hangover cure though, maybe a drink to go with my burrito

I'm not sure if the Chaser brand is it or not, but there are some pills on the market now that were developed by the Soviets for KGB operatives to drink with marks so they didn't get intoxicated or have hangovers. The Chaser pills just absorb hangover causing toxins. But I have a method that works 100%. You'll never get a hangover again. As you know, the main cause for a hangover is dehydration. When I started working out a few years ago, I began taking Creatine Monohydrate. Creatine Monohydrate works by allowing your muscle cells to superhydrate. That is, hold more water than normal. This isn't common water retention, the kind that makes you bloated and puffy, but intra-cellular water retention. It will simply make your muscles harder and more full. It also creates an envinronment in your muscles that is more condusive to protein synthesis, so it aids in building muscle. With all the extra water your body will have on hand, hangovers will be a things of the past. I just couldn't every remember to drink a full glass of water before I passed out.

I just drink a fosters oil can of beer & some asprin when i first get up to piss at like 5 or 6 am, then do that again if you still feel shitty like at 10 or 11, but v-8 with hot sauce sounds like the perfect addition to my gig, i am going to buy a can of v-8 & keep it on hand. Chefs get hangovers alot.
