I am going to buy one or the other tomorrow.
Not quite sure which just yet...I wouldn't mind a ps4 but, as an avid halo fan, xbox one will probably be what I get.
Unless someone can convince me that there is/will be a game that will be similar on the ps4..
I also really like titan fall and thats xbox exclusive as well..

thats how i've felt..no need to upgrade.
but now they are doing halo 5 beta and yeah..i'm jealous.
I guess what I'm asking is, is there a ps4 exclusive game on par with titanfall or halo?

I haven't kept up to date with the new generation of consoles because I'm not in danger of getting either any time soon, but Killzone is a PS exclusive and has always been at the top of my list for favorite FPS (Battlefield is my top, I have some pretty fond memories of Medal of Honor as well).
But again, all you're going to get is opinion. IMO Killzone has always been far better than Halo. More gritty and realistic.

never played killzone..or battlefield either, well not really anyways.
sounds interesting.
I'm looking to get back into gaming as hardcore as I was a few years ago.
My son was born a little over a week ago and gaming will allow me to stay at home with him without getting to bored.

when i upgrade my gaming system, i'll be sticking with the Sony line. I've been a loyalist to them since childhood, and don't think i'll be straying any time soon.
if you're loyal to some game lines that are Xbox exclusive, then get the X1
you won't be upset either way. at this point, it almost matters most which your friends have; playing networked online games is where it's at, obv.

I'm probably going to stick with X1 for halo..
I have just become to good at that game over the years to start over on some other series.
It would take me years to reach this level of competence on another game.

word these things only matter on how many of your best friends have which ever one. Otherwise you'll get bored out of your skull if noone has it, atleast in my experience.
Bought a ps3 and sold it after a week cuz noone I knew had one and it was intensely boring

On one hand I agree and on the other I don't.
I vastly prefer my FPS to be on PC and certain action/adventure/RPGs as well. But there are plenty of games I prefer to be on console. Racing games for example. I haven't had the best luck with PC and controller compatibility. Playing a racing game with a keyboard is bullshit. The controllers seem to be hit or miss as well (the last racing game I had on PC I had to recalibrate the controller every single time which was a lot harder than it sounds, as it wouldn't always recognize it, had to have a bunch of various programs open to run it as well, it's in general just a hassle I'd rather do without).

Dude an Xbox 360 controller hooks right up to the PC,and I play all my racing games with it,plus when you have a PC you can get most all the games that are out for those two sytems free of charge
I haven't bought a brand new video game since I had a psone back in the 90's
