Habitat: Where does it grow? Eg. woods, pasture, state, province, country, altitude, etc. What does it grow on? Eg. soil, dung, wood (dead, living, what kind of wood?), etc.
Deep woods, growing in fallen leaves, dead wood all over. Gills: Color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc.
White gills/off white/tanish brown maybe, pics included. Stem: Length, diameter, color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc.
Length about 3 inches, white/brown/reddish. Solid and thin.
Cap: Diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc.
Pics will describe better, hairy texture, brown in color.
Spore print color: Very important!
Waiting on print.
Bruising: Color that the mushroom bruises, if any.
No noticeable bruising. Maybe a bit blue/red but unsure..
Other information: Scent of the mushroom, anything else you think is important, large close-up pictures showing stem, cap and gills.
Pictures will show.

Thank you... Its hard to upload photos to this forum from my phone, apologies.
I tried to fix them but you answered it. I'm going out now to a pasture and a park, I checked the list of actives in south Carolina and have been on many hunts and have yet to run across any of them.
Do you think its possible the 8 sp of active shrooms do not grow in the coastal regions of my state but more northern?

You'll have the best luck the further south you go, staying near the coast. It may not be time just yet in your area. The best bet would be to look in cattle pastures for Psilocybe cubensis. Also check horse manure and sodded/manicured lawns for Panaeolus cinctulus.

Thanks again. I just came back from a horse pasture...no shrooms at all, NONE.
Went through a park and a new neighborhood and found scratch. I think its still too early for pan cint. *sigh*
I did find 3 nice size amita mescura but I left them as I am not looking for musicimol.

Yeah you'll probably have to wait until early June to start seeing alot of mushrooms, but still, check a day or two after the next good rain.
