Yesterday was too early for Weiili so was today. Too early for most anything. 3 straight days of rain. and only rusulas and 2 weeping widow nd these babies. Actively poisonous possibly deadly!!!! Brown star-footed Amanita unless im full of shit.

Every MOMENT I wake up. From house to car I liik for m. I rive through my hood Looking for m's. So I feel the same way I do about any other day. Every day is a hushroom hunt this time of year especaially after I realized i rain danced WAY too hard.

Hung out with grandma. She said old ladies say. When a row of normally spring blooming crepe myrtle blooms around 10'th of a flower load mid  to early fall it means we re going to have a long fall which is optimal. I saw Rusulas (they tend to pop up after rain slows up. and 1 or 2 renegade Weeping widow without gregarious growth that made an attempt at flushing in the drier conditions prob 3 days b4 rain came.. . NO pinsets not even for lacrimals. I think we will see pins sat sun and mon tue wed are probably optimal.

Patience Ieeago.

There was a small number of new fruits today, but nothing spectacular so far. I'm hoping that tomorrow will be good, and then there is more rain coming after that so who knows. Let's just hope it doesn't get too cold.

They bruise pretty quick, I'd say you could see bruising within a few minutes at least. Usually they have at least some bruising already, many of the ones I've found have bruised from just looking at them like the one in my avatar. Potent little dudes!

Go and check patches as soon as possible! Part of my current "main" patch fruited today. Not all of it, which was weird, but the part that did flush flushed harder than any other time this season. These fruits were not there yesterday, and then today they are all over. Other patches I know of also did not fruit, so it may be early, but I feel a good flush coming so everyone be ready!

Here's one little cluster I found. These are some good looking little guys.

And once again to help the new guys, here is a backed out shot of what to look for while hunting in grass fields. This grass is shorter than in my previous "what to look for" picture, so it'll give good comparison. These fruits are also much much newer and the caps are more rounded.
