Okay i know this may sound dumb but i have a fully colonated jar of rye (P. Weilii), but now what do i do with it? I read that manure and hardwood sawdust are a good growing medium but do i just toss the colonized rye in a bucket of sterelized manure/sawdust? And what should i do for humidity and casing? Also should i keep the growing medium in a sterile environment like a laminar hood or is a fishtank or terrarium sterile enough?

Did you say Weilii?!  Sorry for replying because I've never worked with Weilii.  Did you ever grow something else before or you just decided to go with Weilii first? If so, much respect to you just for being confident about what you're doing!

I don't know if Weilii can fruit on rye itself.  If so, you could simply case your jar.  If you want better flushes, bulk is the way to go.  You probably don't want to sterilize bulk, but pasteurize it.  Once you get some pasteurized bulk, you can either mix everything (bulk and spawn) and let colonize or prepare some layers (layer of bulk, layer of spawn, layer of bulk, layer of spawn, etc.).

Concerning the fruiting specifications of this strain  : I DON'T KNOW.

  Best luck to you.
