Wait til its 100% colonized and then add your casing layer. I see a few uncolonized spots so I'd wait a few days then case it!

So what makes this different from Damion5050's Coir Tek that you don't add a casing layer immediately?

Damion's coir tek uses what we call in the industry a "pseudo-casing layer".  A pseudo-casing layer is a thin layer of bulk substrate materials applied over the top of the bulk substrate immediately prior to the constrution of the bulk substrate.  Helps guard the substrate's moisture content.  A standard-averaged casing cover is mainly comprised of 50/50 peat moss/vermiculite, and pasteurized for an hour and a half.

With cubensis, the standard-average casing cover is to be applied to the bulk substrate at full colonization, or after pins form.  A casing applied after pins form is known as a "late" casing.  At the point of the application of the casing layer, you can either introduce the substrate into fruiting conditions, or allow the casing cover to become about 20% colonized before introducing into fruiting.

Chilean cased with 50/50+ fruitied in a GH.  Tray was fruitied as soon as it was cased.

What would the pros and cons of both methods be?

If you're growing Cubensis I would add it now.
