I pick all at once so that the substrate can stop focusing on a small guy that's being slow, and use that energy for the second flush. (After a good dunk of course)

Hey guys, sorry it has been a while since an update. Have been very busy with work and planting season. Getting my garden and flower beds done seems to be more work every season lol. Anyway just wanted to give a quick update.
Experiment 1+2 are both putting out second flush right now. The mushies on experiment 1, the mound, appear to be much bigger then the first flush. The ones on experiment 2, the tray, appear to be about the same, but more of them.
Experiment 3, a second mound of the same making as the first, is just begging to pin for me.
Experiment 4, a second tray consisting of coco/verm/ewc/oyster shell/alfalfa meal/kelp meal, is now strongly colonized and should be pinning any time now.
Experiment 5, a third tray the same as above is just starting to show mycellium through the surface.
Of the 10 jars of Ecuador's, 9 decided to colonize and again no contam's. However unlike the B+ these are not behaving well. Almost all of them are pinning invitro pretty bad. Even one that's only colonized about 70%. Very different than the B+ that's for sure.
Once I dehydrate them to cracker dry, how long can I store them in the fridge? I refuse to sell them and I really don't even want to risk giving them away. I only grew them for personal spiritual use and because I'm loving this hobby, I think I might end up with a bit much for the two of us to use in a short time.

Get them cracker dry and make chocolates out of them. Store in the freezer. unless you share your freezer with others

That's a good idea on the chocolates, probably makes them far more enjoyable to consume as well. Would they store just as long not in chocolates in the freezer?
