This tub was put into fruiting about 3 days ago. How's it looking?

Looks like you need more FAE.
Those shrooms are too long and skinny.
Maybe someone else can let you know about the dryness of the sub.. or lack there of. Idk about that.

They were like that before I introduced them to fruiting. It looks to me like some of the tips are drying out. Can someone confirm?

those were fruiting like that before you put them into fruiting? def a FAE deficiency. just fan a cpl times a day. they be fine.

alright, I just sprayed to down real good and stuffed some more polyfill.
I let this tub consolidate for a month so it already had little shrooms growing out of it before I introduced it to fruiting.

They would benefit from some spraying/misting. How is your hole placements? Do you have a fan running in the room?

I have two 2in holes on each long side and one 2in hole on the top of the short sides. A fan is blowing on low facing away from the tubs.

Looks like some of those shrooms are developing fuzzy feet - another symptom of low FAE. However, since they grew like that before you put them in fruiting conditions, they may grow normally now. Think about it: there is no FAE during colonization and there probably isn't enough growth in 3 days to say for sure if you have a FAE problem or not. I'd probably give it a few days, but I'm no expert.
How big is your tub by the way? I think mine is 56 quart and I've got 4x 2"holes (2bottom/2 top) on each long side and a row of small holes under the handles on the sides roughly equal to 1x 2" hole (came with those). The lid isn't air tight either. Don't seem to have any issues with FAE or humidity.
Also, I'm having much better luck using micropore tape vs polyfill this time around. There's no guesswork concerning how much to use or how tight to pack it.... It just works perfectly.
Things that might be worth considering.

Everyone has different ways of doing things, but I highly prefer polyfil over micropore tape for tub holes. The fact polyfil density can be tweaked by packing looser/tighter is the very benefit of it. It takes some learning, but I stand by the fact that polyfil is superior in gaining the optimum FAE/humidity levels.

My tub is a 56 quart. It actually turns out some of the fan's wind was directly hitting the side of my tub. Could this have dried out the mycelium? I'm giving it a good misting every chance I get and I'm careful not to drown it.
How should it fan be placed in the room? My fan is now placed 5ft under my mono with the wind blowing parallel to the ground. Is this an optimal set up?
How hydrated should the mycelium look?
