Aqua humidity stone??

I came across this on Amazon. It is suppose to give humidity without electricity. I was wondering if any have experience with this product? I was going to get a fish tank air pump and lay under the perlite to increase air flow but it can decrease humidity. I currently have a sgfc which seems to be working but I'd like to experiment around.

The air pump works but you have to have perlite with water a good inch or two below the top, so it wouldn't be your typical SGFC but the air stones would provide the fresh air and humidity you need, provided that the air pump is big enough, probably 20-60 gallon rated at least.
I'm working on my own version of this - I found a story of a dude using an air pump on his mono to provide constant air circulation and it worked great for him. He had two hoses at first one on each side, then removed one taped it and left just one because it was hurting his humidity too much. So what I did was I took a couple air stones and put them in a 2 liter bottle with lines coming out so that the air would be humidified a bit and then use those lines to provide fresh air. This is my first time doing it and I have yet to get the results but I'm pretty confident it will work well but probably not much more effective than a monotub, though that's not an option for me because I don't have air flow so thats why I've done my build.

Did you put water in the two liter? Or just empty? There has to be a way to produce more humidity and keep air flow going besides perlite and drilling holes in the fc
