KSSS Advice Needed

So I went ahead and fruited this bad boy from my grow log.

Should I go ahead and case with verm or leave it uncased? I also have coir, but none prepped. If I were to use CV or even just verm, would I need to sterilize, pasteurize, or anything of the sort? Thanks for the help.

If I didn't have casing materials prepped I wouldn't case.

I can prep it, that's not even the issue. I want a big flush and nice fruits, but it's a standard ms KSSS grow and after reading around, it seems like a bitch to get decent fruits.

if you wanna case it you can use non heat treated cv. just add luke warm water to the bucket. case and fruit right after. if its been fruiting a week or so already I wouldn't case it. couple days its OK.

I literally just fruited a couple hours ago. Sorry, I didn't make that clear. But I will go ahead and do that. The tub is solid and CV is fairly contam resistant. Thundercats a goooo! Thanks SpaceChildo!

I went ahead and cased, but I didn't have anything to measure the depth, so I kind of just did a thin layer to where I couldn't see any white. Should this suffice? Also - would this be considered late casing? I didn't have any pins or knots really, but I can tell it was about to take off. Hoping this will give me good yields and/or clusters of these spaceship looking fruits with the extra water retention/microclimate.

Would you happen to have pics or a link to the grow? I'd love to see some. I've seen a mix of great and not so great flushes, but I believe a lot of it has to do with the proper conditions as opposed to genetics. Just my inferred opinion, but a cube is a cube they say... Except taGyo. I've been looking at his and others. Do you grow from MS or did you get an isolate from someone? From what I've read KSSS is supposedly already isolated as is according to HawksEye.
I've never cased, or successfully at least. When I first started growing a couple years ago I lost a couple dub tubs from casings and once I eliminated that step, my success was guaranteed. I guess I'm just being paranoid about the unexpected. What's done is done but I'll be sure to post my results, good or bad. I have another tub of KSSS that's near the end of its run, I'll probably choose to not case that one.

yeah that should do it. I never measure the depth myself, just add a thin layer is all. I'd just call it casing

Jesus those look nice. All the other ones except for Urthtowns looked extremely fat, short, and stumpy. This, though, is exactly what I'm aiming for. Beautiful man.

Lol, right on. I guess the only reason I asked is to be as informed as possible as I'm helping friends around me with their grow. I thrive on accuracy as to help them as much as myself, along the way, so they too can research on the forums. Too bad they don't. I almost wish they'd learn from here so they can be informed for themselves instead of having me regurgitate information. Rant over. I'm happy to know I did it right. I didn't pack it down or anything, I just spread it as evenly as possible.
Feeling good, thanks for the support and guidance, both of you.
