Maybe you were so high you didn't even realize how many questions there were. I had 52 as well.

yeah I didn't pay attention to how many it was, but I know it was in the 50's so i said atleast 52. it was in response to the guy saying how many questions you answered was dependent on how many you were getting right, because i made it to 52, and so did you, but our scores vary drastically, so how many questions you get probably isn't dependent on how well you do.
It's definitely adaptive. The website the test comes from says that it is.

It certainly can be. For instance, it may remove a class of questions if you miss too many of the simpler ones, leaving you with less questions total. If you perform well enough across all classes of questions, however, it could still let you see all questions without necessarily kicking ass across the board.

And this, is why we got the same number of questions, with such different results.

BTW this is absolutely NOT an IQ test. It's a 100% pattern recognition test for anyone wondering.

Sure it does. "At least 52" is equivalent to saying "52 or more."

I'm not gonna lie, I swore 59 was the last question before it gave me the boot, but as I said, it was 4/20, so i'm taking my own statement with a grain of salt and trusting him that it was 52.
Edit: and I just read the comment below mine, so clearly I was too high lol I almost want to retake it but knowing me I'll get a lesser score then when I was stoned, which will make me sad.

Then the universe just made up more questions for you and implanted them into the test, because the website says there are 52 questions.

i think mine ended at 44 or 45 i cant remember. after 30 or so, those ones with two squares above one another, then two rhombuses above one another, then two squares, an empty space, and a square on the bottom right, i had no clue what their answers were. i think those 10 or so questions really fucked me up

He said to PM him for a link to the test he was talking about. Then he said the test he was talking about was based on raven's progressive matrices. The link he posted was an explanation of that test.
