Chanche to reroot This?
    #21571699 - 04/20/15 01:09 PM (9 years, 30 days ago)

I have this Sulcorebutia Rauschii Graft that was bought at Ikea but now the Hylocereus rootstock has rotten and i had to cut like a surgeon
Now i have 1 cm of Hylo left. any chanche that it will put roots again? (and look like a hidden graft, that would look considerably better?)

Oh by the way,i don't want to make a separate thread only for this, so, can you Id the Cactus on this photo? If it can help you it's setting Red tiny flowers

Yes you can root the hylo. It will make a hidden graft stock.

The cacti is a mistery for me. Epiphytic for sur but dont know.
Disocactus ? Pfeffeira ? Rhipsalis ?

I believe it is an Epiphyllum hybrid. The small buds will become big red flowers.

After a quick search i belive it's an Epiphyllum ackermannii
As always even the sole name of the genus helps to narrow an ID
Thanks to both

Didnt think about epiphyllum hybrid because he said the flowers were tiny. I have an epiphyllum and it throws each year big red flowers.
