Hey guys, went on a couple little forays out and about this weekend during the rain, found plenty of different species.
I was looking for subs but I don't think it was quite cold enough, any suggestions for what temp it needs to get down to before it's worth looking around for them?

Also do you guys have any suggestions for good books for NSW fungi species?

Specimen 1. Suillus luteus?

Specimen 2 unknown

Specimen 3. Found millions of these whilst looking for subs

Specimen 4

Specimen 5

Specimen 6. White latex-like fluid oozing from snapped stem

Specimen 7.

Specimen 8.

Specimen 9.

Species 10

Last one! Hygrocybe irrigata?

Perhaps S. granulatus for the first one.

#4 looks like a Cruentomycena sp.

#6 is a Lactarius sp., more detailed description would suffice.

#7 looks like Leratiomyces ceres.

Specimen 5 is really interesting. Do you have any more photos of it?

only a very stodgy one. It was a group of about 5 or so in a particularly marshy section of the area I was walking in.

At first I thought they were just past their use by date but they felt  very sturdy.

The closest I've seen to those irl are dark specimens of Cortinarius violaceus - they were really dark, but not black like yours.

But then I come very short of saying anything about Australian mushrooms.

I was also thinking they looked like a really dark Cortinarius violaceus and i think i can see some purple on the splitting margin one.
Im not sure if its a similar rare species but that in one cool mushroom!!

It must be a really dark purple cort (something in the Cortinarius violaceus group) but I've never seen one so dark.
