i found these in the forest near clackamas, thought i would help id these, they blued very nicely like the azures, and look alot like them but im not sure the habitat was right since im not near the beach but they are definatly some kinda goodie any thoughts

They look like it but wait for someone else opinion. Take a spore print. Cyans will have a purple/black spore print.

they match up perfectly with the cyan ID in mushrooms demystified, and they are really nice and blue, put them all down for spore print.

just tryt to get them in better lighting [your previous picture had the light directed at the non-visible sides of the specimens]. this will be the most helpful.

yay darkish purple spore print too! is there anything that it could be with all these signs, the cap was like a smooth surface and carmelish color, but now its kinda turned light tan with the tip staying a darkish brown anyways im still positive thats its psycoactive, but i just want a lil comfirmation ya know :-)

its just the mushroom drying out when it turns the straw color, no worries, it sure sounds like its a cyan. based on that pic, bruising stem, purple spore print... i'd say you're good to go
one more thing... what were they growing on? woodchips?

I took a look at them in person and they are cyanescens in my book.
This is a very rare find as the specimens were found in a wild habitat.
Shroominsmurf...I give you props for having an excellent eye, the will to hunt, and a very fine rare find!!!

it was definatly not a patch the way it was growing, i am sure of that. i was gonna try and go out again today but i was bogged down with homework, bitches, weed and finals. maybe tomorrow, i'll keep updating, if the news stays positive :-). btw thanks josh.
