Habitat: growing in a public park that is home to many pine trees. Found just after rain. Although the mushrooms were found on nearby grass with no pine needles covering them. Growing in small clusters (2-3) or alone.
Gills: Grey-purple- very dark purple (almost black). Not attached to stem. Many very fine gills that seem to have a very slight sparkle to them in sunlight (or I'm insane) Very neat gills that are fragile.0
Stem: 2-6cm long. 3-5mm thick, slightly thicker at base. Hollow and fragile.Could not see mycelium at base.
Cap: 1-4cm in diameter. Golden brown in the middle with a lighter fade toward the edge of the mushroom. Dark on the lip where the gills attach to cap.Smooth texture with no imperfections. Smaller mushroom had a cylindrical cap while the larger ones had a bell shape.
Spore print color: the spore print was dark purple-black (photo below)
Bruising: barely bruises at all. Cannot find any blue patches. Cap bruises a dark colour (could be a mix of brown and purple) about 40 seconds after being squashed, but I don't know if Iam just squashing the dark gills onto it :/ stem changes colour to a darker shade of itself when squeezed.
First mushroom I've picked that I considered to have potential, Iam new around here so please excuse the lack of terminology. Also is the lack of bruising a bad sign? A big thank you to all who have a geez!

Okay i checked my spore print again and its complete and jet black. The lighter gills have also turned very dark. Both are characteristics of the mushrooms you previously mentioned, a coprinoid. Coprinopsis acuminata is what i think i got. Can any one confirm?

I think they're Coprinellus micaceus group, though they are odd looking.

Yeah, I was leaning towards a coprinoid species at first, although an odd looking one, but I second guessed myself do to the spore print. Should have just went with my gut! Either way, it wont make you feel funny, its thats what the hopes were. Keep at it though, they are around!
I'm leaning towards coprinoid the more I look at it, its just a funny looking one. Good luck with the hunting
