Shroomism vs. Conversations with God

Shroomism (and others) clearly states that the earth is a school for spiritual learning. Shroomism believes in the CWG Trilogy teachings. (I use the term trilogy, because although God promised only 3 books.; this franchise is becoming a major publishing mill.) CWG1 clearly states that the earth is NOT a school. Swami no good with paradoxes. Please help me out.

All we have to do is wait for two things:
1) The rapture, if 2 million Christians suddenly dissapear than it is going to be pretty obvious that the crazy Christians were right all along.
2) 2012, if nothing happens that 95% of those new age gurus are all wrong.
just hang on 10 more years we will all find out whther we can disprove about half of the religous theories out there today.

Sorry, won't happen. The disproving, I mean. Oh yes, we (the arrogant skeptics) will have made our point, but guess you haven't much read this forum and watched believers wiggle when hung out to dry. It is an amazing sight! When one's ego (which the spiritual types claim to have overcome) survival is at stake, all rules go out the window.
I've been through several major end-of-world dates and at NO time do the believers EVER admit they were in error.

Unless im misinformed, the 2012 thing that believers swear by states that a change will happen. Not "Then end of the world". This change could be a shift of conciousness. nice try though.

I'm kinda curious... Does the Author of CWG claim to have had a direct interface with God?
Like a one on one direct conversation?

not the earth itself per se but life in general is the school. i don't know how you can refute that since we learn all the time while alive.
-------------------- Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

*READING COMPREHENSION ALERT!* I did not refute anything in this thread now did I, oh gentle reader?
The "earth school" in New Age parlance refers to learning to be carried into the next life.

in that statement I never said that you refuted anything in the first place. but the way I worded it I can see how you might have got that.
refute was the wrong word. what I meant was that I don't see how you could not agree with the fact that we learn while we are alive.
new age speech has nothing to do with learning here and now.
for instance I learned right now that refute was the wrong word to use in this case. didn't need to carry that in the next life to apply it here, do i?

When did I say I believe in the CWG trilogy? I've only read the first book and a little bit of the second, and I think I've only mentioned it in passing a few times. It's alright... certainly not my favorite... never did I say I 'believe' in CWG, and certainly not as a foundation for my philosophies. Try Pleiadian Agenda Maybe you're thinking of the other guy with an animated avatar (Learyfan) that talks about conversations with god. I think it has some interesting insights and perspective, but that's about it. I feel misrepresented But yes I do believe the Earth is a school for learning and if CWG says it isn't, then I disagree.

I hit the breaker and screamed as loud as I could. I made 30 or so people's hearts skip a beat... then everyone laughed and went back to killing the keg.

wow whats with all these swami posts picking fights with all the chapms of MM? I find it good reading sometimes, othertimes not, but my opinion doesent matter. For you to say the earth is NOT a place for learning, swami, is very childish in my eyes, if thats what you were saying. Life IS a big learning place, and only the ones who never stop expanding thier minds can truly understand things great. I mean, its cool to be skeptic, and question things, but this thread is overkill, and I hope I have posted the slaying blow to it.

SECOND READING COMREHENSION ALERT! Still did not give an opinion one way or the other.
Can we have replies from literate people?
