The first time I banged MXE, I got the notion that the MXE was an evil entity trying to snuff out my own and take me over. I just stared out my window for a while and eventually felt that I could go on. Man, I miss that stuff.

Fascinating report, Asante. I also like the exposition of your cosmology, which is interesting and perhaps quite accurate, in ultimate terms.
Best of luck to you, and keep us posted!

Subbing in this thread for later (don't have time to read OP this second).
But I'm hoping this another fascinating story of Wiccan (by the way Wiccan would you like to be called Asante now? I'm just used to you as Wiccan but will call you Asante if you'd prefer) and his interesting take on another deep MXE hole.
No matter how "crazy" some of your MXE reports seem, they were real to you, and if you take something positive from them then I think that's awesome! I love your writing style anyway, so it's hard not to be captivated by your posts; keep it up!
Also just as one last quick thing - I'm really glad you can just have a truly spiritual experience with MXE what seems like once a month at most. I recently did like 2 and a half ounces to myself in like 3 months... I used to be able to control myself, but not anymore. I first got/tried MXE probably like Jan '12 and I've done my share of K as well, but it wasn't til last winter (~16 months ago) that I couldn't control myself, and then for the last 3 months it was way worse than that. Just can't handle it anymore
I'd love a few grams of K again... I don't think it's as addicting to me as MXE and I've never been junked out on it to the same extent as MXE. I can make slight parallels to meth with MXE honestly; don't feel like explaining but some of you may get it.
Anyway I gotta go for a little bit but look forward to coming back and reading the OP!

Thank you all for responding and your twists, some the right way some the wrong way, bless you all.
By The Fruits Ye Shall Know Them.
MXE got me to quit smoking for 1.5 year now and my thread on the topic inspired others to quit smoking also. MXE has got me swimming on average 3x a week for 2 months now, what was an impossibility for me before. My feeding habits since this last experience are completely transformed. I eat healthier whole foods and less of them. My whole attitude to food and hunger has changed.
Lets hope this will be lasting change. We cant at this point say if it will but MXE experiences with all this God and Spirits stuff has induced lasting changes in me, months and years and counting. We can';t say at this point if it will or wont last. Right now I'm on the path.
I wanted to take a flood dose of Iboga to effect a reset of my food habits. Here, now, MXE has done that for me.
I inspired my best buddy with this to go take a flood dose of mushrooms next week to try overcome his abuse of alcohol and weed and strengthen his ties with God.
This is one big caravan of hope, of joy, of wellbeing, of growth, for myself AND some around me.
And hey, I get initiated in the deeper mysteries of life, and I get to twist the kinks out of dark forces plagueing me and get to throw Spirit Bombs once a month. KAMEHAMEHAAAAAA!

Ras Rising, are you a Rasta? It probably has added meaning for you then
And yes Teamkiller, its much more integrated now so it comes out with a less unusual flow. Thank you for getting back on that.

Could you define what you would consider a "Flood dose"? I'm super interested in most of these threads because regardless of you misses Asante, I feel like you're striking at the heart of truth in some of these. And they've really helped me integrate some of the more bizzare experiences Ive had with this stuff.
Thanks for having the balls man. And from a man that HAS lost weight in dire times, never get discouraged with delayed results! Just keep to a routine and make it a good habit man! I believe in ya buddy, seriously I know that feel.

Thank you!
A "flood dose" is a concept from the Iboga world. Its different things for different people.
Basically a "flood dose" of an entheogen is an amount of entheogen consumed in a short time span that, though not endangering physical health, takes you so far out there mentally and spiritually that you literally hang from the tips of your fingers a the end of your rope. And if you THEN call out in total conviction and despair the the Divinity Within, it will come forth and rescue you.
Coming to the end of your rope, then calling out for Divinity and letting go, plunging in the maelstrom putting all your ante on that you will be saved, thats a flood dose.
Painting yourself in a corner and then setting the paint on fire and calling out to whatever you hold sacred
A flood dose, a dose of a psychedelic which is tailored to not be physically dangerous to you but which deliberately is more than you can handle.
Your God/Higher Self wants you to take that leap of faith, if you do it in the right way and for the right reasons, and will greatly reward you if you do.
For me a flood dose of shrooms is about 2 grams. For my best friend its about 5-7 grams.
A flood dose doesnt have to be taken at once, in fact its generally better to weigh an amount that is reasonably safe physiologically, and just keep cramming down more of that stash until you truly can go no further. It has to become a psychological emergency and you have to reach out to the Divine for help.

I feel like every time I load a breakthrough dose of DMT it's a "flood dose". But I don't go into such a thing without intent. I suppose the ritual really plays a huge part in all of this. I mean just look at the general opinions of people that have these experiences. It seems the folk that take these chemicals for recreational reasons have a lot different outlook on them than people who take them with spiritual intent.
