It is not white snow but I think all grains seem to have some mycelium.

Its another contaim. Lookss like some bacteria and compeating fungi such as trich. You do have some healthy mycelium though that you can attempt to save via an agar tek.

@InvisibleBuck513

There are patches mycelium in the grain. They can be removed cracked open under a flow hood or still air box. The mycelium can than be transfered to agar. It will take 2-3 transfers to get a clean patch.

I'ts not that hard to do.

Opening a contaminated jar like that in front of a flow hood is one of the most ill thought suggestions I've read in a long time.

The only place you open contaminated cultures of any kind is in your SAB(still air box), not in front of your flow hood. The flow hood will blow mold spores all over your face and your grow/work room.

Even tho that is crazy to attempt! Why not just read around here and see what everyone is doing to produce spawn efficiently and quickly. It usually starts with MS>agar(usually clean up any contams at this point by transfers) agar>master>grain! If u create a clean master jar u can grain2grain and get ten jars of spawn! Or agar>LI and knock up a lot of different stuff with fast results! So many options u just wanna start with agar so you can pick out good growing mycelium with no contam growth! Agar in the end is quicker! More work but more greater results will be acheived! Check out pasty's agar tek! Easy for beginners!!

Agar wedge>1 quart jars>10 quart jars>100 quart jars>1000 quart jars. Perfecto!

Yea... I'd toss that or put it in an outdoor patch. But would avoid opening in front of a hood or anywhere inside for that matter...

Definately have some type of bacteria going on as well as what looks like could be trich. And quite possibly some other molds in there too.

Don't feel bad though I just had 4 or 5 jars out of 30 that looked very similar. They are all going into an outdoor patch. I've got some good fruits from some pretty fucked up jars spawning outdoors.
