U use cold water because hot watrr potentially pulls out the toxins in seeds, creating more stomach sickness.

So with cold water, it reduces the side effects.

Hot water is too aggressive for extracting, and u get unwanted toxins.

Also, LSA is somewhat sensitive to heat.

I havent experimented with trying hot and cold extractions, but thats the basic there is to use cold water.

The psychoactive ingredients as lyseric acid amide and lysergic acid hydroxyethylamide are watersoluble in cold and/or warm water.
But there are also some compounds watersoluble whitch cause nausea and vasoconstriction, such as clavines. Clavines are more soluble in warm water.
So when using extremly cold water to extract, most of the clavines should remain in the filter as solids allowing the liquified ergine to pass through..
Well, that's the theory Da2ura sent me via PN.

When making a hot tea with HBWR-seeds I get more nausea than when I use a CWE but I haven't tried this freeze-water-extraction yet.

Is there a good, proven CWE Tek out there. Would it be the same for MG seeds and HBW seeds?
