Why doesn't someone invent hangoverless beer?

So the main causes of the hangover are dehydration, acetaldehyde accumulation and NAD+ depletion. For problem one, you could add vasopressin (or a synthetic analogue) and electrolytes, problem 2 you could add acetaldehyde dehydrogenase, for problem 3 you could add NAD+. Why aren't hangoverless alcoholic drinks available? I doubt I'm the first one to think of this, but if on the off chance this is a new concept we'd better put one of those anti-patents on it (can't remember the word for this, where you patent something but make it dirt cheap, just to stop other people patenting it) so that no rat bastard capitalists come along and patent it so we end up with hangoverless booze that only rich people can afford.

You could just eat a couple of aspirins or Alkaseltzers and drink a big glass of water before bed then drink a glass of tomato juice in the morning.

GHB gives me pretty horrific glutamate rebounds. Worse than hangovers IME. Popping a couple of benzos in the morning takes care of glutamate rebounds and hangovers. r00tuuu123 that doesn't work for extreme hangovers and more often than not, when you're drunk you won't remember to do that. Having all the anti hangover materials in the drink would be the way to go.

Well I dunno the specifics, but have you tried to make a hangoverless drink yourself? It sounds like you know enough about it to try it... if it worked; now that would be interesting

drink vodka or schnapps. You'll still get a hangover, but it feels cleaner

It's called ethyl alcohol, USP :V
... and a good amount of water, since dehydration is an obviopus factor.
Seriously though, I used to bring the stuff home from the lab and everyone who drank it had no hangover, whatsoever (even after getting shitfaced).
Just don't do something stupid like I did... I was pretty drunk and forgot ethanol is a lot lighter than water. POUR THE SODA OR WHATEVER IN LAST. Otherwise, the Et-OH will just sit on the top and you'll be taking a swig of pure throat dehydrator.
Haha, that WAS NOT fun (this stuff was anhydrous, too).

Alcohol depletes b12, which is the other cause of hangover aside from dehydration

Just how easy it is to source acetylaldehyde dehydrogenase? Also - those additives could have some pretty major health side effects, I'm not sure many studies on them have been done. Would the acetylaldehyde being broken down quicker mean there's less lingering to prevent the alcohol from being converted straight away?
