Drying Mushrooms - Not ideal, but it works.

Hello everybody,
3 days ago ago I harvest my first Golden Teachers from a growing kit.
The process went quite well and got 200gm out of my first flush.
I was finding quite hard to dry them though. My first approach was Epsom Salt in an air tight container and previously laid them down on kitchen towel on an ambient temperature.
While I could see they were drying, it was still pretty slow.
As this was my first time growing, I had no plan B and buying a dehydrator was not an option.
So, as I have a dehumidifier in my bedroom for humidity, I though I would give it try laying the mushrooms right at the exit of dry air from the dehumidifier.
The air temperature coming out of it seems to be about 20 degrees celsius.
That is definitely not the most energy efficient approach, but I must say that in just about 1 hour they look completely different. The smaller one are already "cracker dry".
Here is a picture

If this really works, I don't think to buy further equipment as I grow only for wife and myself. 30gm of dried mushroom will probably last me 1 year.
What you think?

For god sake buy a dehydrator. The cheap ones are 30 bucks and give cracker dry shrooms in around 6 hours

Whatever works. Make sure they're dry enough to crumble into powder before you store them. Sometimes they'll appear dry but aren't dry the whole way through.

cracker dry is more dry than you would think.
then again if you can afford that horribly over priced kit a dehydrator isn't out of the question.
