Humidifier help

Can anyone suggest a solution for a reliable humidifier that I don't have to refill every day? Maybe something I can hook to a garden hose? I am growing in a retired 40' refegerator trailer, and I have a little Honeywell home humidifier/vaporizer from a second hand store that holds 2 gallons and Uses it up every 12 hours so I have to refill it twice a day. It is able to mantain 100% humidity no problem, but I can't refill twice a day much longer or I'll loose my mind. I need to move to the next level. I am on a budget, but can spend maybe 400$ or so on a better solution. The other problem is I have very poor control of the humidity. I see Stamets's website sells something called a humidifan, but their pretty expensive. Any hot tips would be appreceated! Thx.

Heh... What about a simple siphon system? Have a tote nearby at the proper elevation relative to the humidifier, and fill that with water. Have a small hose go from one reservoir into the other. That way you could have a 66 gallon tote that replenishes your humidifier?

at the proper elevation relative to the humidifier,
Can you explain how that would work?
I use a mister nozzle in front of the air intake, connected to mains water. I use cheap solenoids to switch supply on and off combined with $25 digital humidistats, running for 4 years now without issue.
I am about to step it up a gear with compressed air/water fogging nozzles but that's a level up.

Siphoning. Its simple, really. Water levels always try to equalize between two containers, when a small hose is put from one into the other. The water will be sucked up the tube, and travel to the other reservoir. No pump needed. Of course, it will transfer faster, based on if the transferring reservoir is slightly elevated relative to the humidifier.

I understand the principal.
If you slightly elevate the tank level above the water level of the mister reservoir, surely the mister reservoir just overflows until the tank is empty or level to the top of the mister reservoir?
In order to have any benefit you wouldn't you need a tall and narrow reservoir on the mister and a wide and flat supply tank?
The other way would be to have a sealed tank and a reservoir feed tube that lets air in once the level drops - AKA water cooler style, but that is more complex to seal.

As I said, the water levels will try to equalize. When the humidifier reservoir drops, it will be refilled to match the other one, as long as they are both at the same elevation. If you find that it isn't transferring fast enough due to the humidifier using water too fast, you can slightly raise the feeding reservoir. Its a thing where you play with it a little until you find the optimal elevation.
