Re-dehydrating dry shrooms?

Alright, so. I had harvested a batch of mushies previous to a vacation and stuck them in my dehydrator @ 95F. I had to leave the day of the harvest and had only let them dry for 10 hrs. They weren't completely cracker dry and before leaving and I stuffed them all in to an airtight jar.
A week later (3 hours ago) I decided to re-open the airtight jar and stick them in the dehydrator to finish off the drying process and get them "cracker dry".
I was just wondering if its harmful to the active compounds inside the mushrooms and if I should take them off of the dehydrator and put them back in the jar or if I should leave them until the morning.

Dude you're fine. It takes a lot more than dehydrator temps to damage the actives. Dry em up

Thanks for the reassurance. I've tried to ingrain my memory with the fact that actives aren't damaged up until extreme temperatures are reached. OCD gets the best of me sometimes.

It takes heat way above a food dehydrator to break down the active compounds an oven would even be ok as long as you keep your temps down. It probably did more good as far as preservation for the shrooms than harm because you dried them all the way.

Jarring your cubes up wet is going to do far more damage to the actives than your dehydrator will.
They didn't rot during that week? They must've been mostly dry I imagine.

Nope, no rotting. They were close to cracker, but not quite there yet.

I'm with this. The leftover moisture could've sped up the oxidation. Tagyo, I think, did that and lost a whole bunch of goods.

Sorry for bringing this thread up again, but after checking on my dry guys, I've noticed that the smaller, skinnier ones are a tad bendy. Perhaps it's to do with the extremely thin wall of tissue holding them together that makes it flimsy and bendy. They still snap, but it seems like you have to kind of twist and tear them.
The bigger mushrooms however, snap like a cracker and do not bend whatsoever. They are stiff and will ONLY snap. If there were moisture remaining in the mushrooms, do you not think that the bigger ones would be the more likely to get soft and bendy where as the smaller ones would typically be much more dry and not bend at all?
I'm drying them right now for the third time at 115F, I may leave it overnight and check in the morning again.

Up the temp. I dehydrate at 130-140f for 12 hours or so and they're always cracker dry. I only have one dehydrater and its old, so I worry about it breaking during a large harvest. So lately i been using lower temps

Haha. My last harvest made me realize that I needed to go pick up some more trays.
Do you think there is any significant damage done when you re-dehydrate too many times? I mean, they were in a sealed jar previous, so little to no oxidization occurred. Would it be the equivalent of me just drying them for longer initially?
