i can pass a urine test, but i need to get past a hair test for a promising job... any TRIED and SUCCESSFUL remedies???

im sorry but i haven't heard of anything. from what ive heard, the deposits in your hair can store whatever is tested for years and years, but i only know that from a very unreliable source. im sorry i cannot help.

Shave your head? I donno...I heard theres shampoos you can buy, but I doubt their credibility.

Yea they sell shampoos but they don't work at all. The residues they are looking for are inside your hair follicle not outside. If your sample is sent to Psychemedics you are pretty well screwed, you can't beat their tests. The only thing you can do is shave your head and stop using anything for 2-4 weeks.

Technically some of these shampoos can cause a 'pass with suspicious results' on a Psychemedics test which is techinically a pass. Maybe this is what they base their claims on. Also I have no idea how this affects tests from other labs. In reality though, most places will consider this either a failure outright or will send it back for a second test. If they do the second test which is far more extensive, there is NOTHING you can do to pass it. You might as well look for another job.
BTW I have read numbers claiming that Psychemedics performs anywhere from 80-95% of the hair drug tests in the US.

I'm sorry, but whoever said it doesn't work is wrong.
I have two close friends that both had hair drug tests. One was for the city, so I don't who tested his, but he passed with using the shampoo and hair gel that was provided, but I am unsure of the brand he used.
My other friend was getting his tested by Psychemedics and used the Root Clean by Detoxify. I believe it also had a hair gel. He is an EXTREMELY heavy user, and pretty much went in thinking he had no chance. He passed without a hitch.
But in addition to these, I don't think it would be a bad idea to go and buy Aloe Rid by Nexus. On the bottle it says that toxins and such build up in your hair, and this product removes them. It specifically metions prescription drugs, so I don't think this would be a bad idea to use every day prior as well. I have heard anecdotal evidence of it working, but no one I know personally.
I have also heard anecdotal evidence that dying your hair will also work.

Actually, you would have to shave all of your body hair, it doesn't need to be only on your scalp. The high school I went to was going to start doing that shit the year after I graduated....I got out in just in time.....it was a private school by the way, so unfortunately they had the right, but it was still bullshit and they knew it. Ugh....god I hated that school...I could go on and on about the stupid shit that went on there....trying to control our lives basically....
