I don't think so, no. But this isn't the right forum to ask that--we're mushroom growers, not identifiers. The identifier forum is here, so if you just go there and post your pictures along with the ID request form they'll be happy to give you a much more definitive answer.

does anyone know if you taste Marasmius oreades in the field, is one able to discern a sweetness while they're fresh?

Yeah, you sure can. I'd always use the stems as another identifying feature--they're super tough and it's very difficult to get them to break or splinter, even if you tie them in a knot.
