Galerina Marginata in the south west?
    #21519345 - 04/08/15 12:38 PM (9 years, 1 month ago)

Has anyone in the south west ever come across the deadly Sub look alike Galerina Marginata in the south west of W.A area? Commonly known areas such as around balingup? I've heard of it being found in south Australia but unsure if it's been found here. I've never found any myself in my travels but has anyone else?

It is common in the Australian state of Victoria.  It is probably common in every country and state in the world which has hardwood trees.

I best to assume Galerina sp. to be cosmopolitan in southern parts of Australia.

Yes, Galerina marginata is well documented from the south-west of Western Australia.
