Birthing question

So I have a jar at about 95% colonization right now and when it was at about 85% I flipped it upside down. Since then the top (now bottom) of the cake is growing white fuzzy mycelium. When birthing should I try to birth it with this fuzzy side up? Or any other suggestions?

The cake is fully colonized my bad I mistook it for one of my others but I just birthed it and now it is under water for the next 24 hours. Does it matter which way I set it in the fruiting chamber?

3 posts in a row is NOT a good way to start your stay here. Furthermore, your Shroomery nick is very off-putting. Give us a second (more like 24 hours) to process your posts and decide whether or not we want to respond. Thank you.

It's all good, man. Happens to the best of us. Believe me, I know first-hand. I mean heaven forbid you make a mistake or something in the interpretation of the rules, and it takes you a few times to fuck up before you figure it out and can get it right. No worries. Welcome to the Shroomery.

Ok dude, you might want to give them a 2nd read so you understand them. These forums can take a while to get the hang of, so feel free to lurk a lot and use the search function and attempt to find answers. There is no question you can ask that hasn't already been answered, ad nauseum.
As far as birthing goes, it's a simple process so don't over think it. Pop them out of the jar, clean off any un-colonized sub under some running water and put them away to soak for 24 hours.
In the future don't flip you jars, that's just a piss poor practice to get into and defeats the whole purpose of using dry vermiculite as a filter layer.
Welcome aboard!

Doesn't matter which side is up (though I once read, whichever originally the side that was up, should be up), don't put in fridge unless you want to store it long term.
These guys are being rather silly. Yea don't post 3 times in a row and your name is a bit silly, but Iddon't give a fuck. Just put all your ideas into one post please.
