lol its good that you believe in yourself.
You'd bow before my gaze.
I don't go around doing this to people, by the way, because it's rude as fuck. But if you decided to have a random stare off against me, you lose.

I have no reason not to look people in the eye.
If I'm high I'd probably never look you in the eye tho, if I'm sober and see someone who is high I won't bother them cause I know that feel.

Hahaha i just realised im talking to the guy who doesn't work but says it would be detrimental to the company if you were fired. I guess you like to come here and try to get others to stroke your ego. Pathetic. You think WAYY too highly of yourself. I don't think anyone here takes you seriously.
You literally made that thread for attention hahaha.
If im perturbed then you must have roid rage and thats why you're so cocky and think it's important to stare people down. But if you were actually confident you wouldn't feel the need to assert your dominance iver strangers.

I don't know
its not awkward at all to look away unless your friend is a fuckin weirdo, or its your girlfriend.
do guys actually hang out with their dudebros who they know well and make constant eye contact? like i said, fuckin weird
I know its not awkward to look away once in a while, but I do it way too much. ever other 3-5 seconds

Unless you're that douche bag that stares down people to make them totally uncomfortable on purpose
yeah, i guess that sounds about right, but what about being "shitty at eye contact"? i don't get it. you either make eye contact, or you don't, and if you don't, i'd assume the person probably has "shyness". issues. i mean, unless it's like a shifty kinda "i don't look at you because i might wanna do something", but like how often is that really a problem?

This phenomena is a simple yet slightly disturbing facet of our evolution, simply put you are either alpha, beta or omega in a very canine/lupine sense of the etymological use of the words.
The human brain has regions often referred to as reptilian brain, canine brain and then cerebral cortex. Simply put your cerebral cortex is the most advanced part, no other animal has one even 49% as large as a human, it is the thing that created modern civilization. The canine brain is just beneath the cerebral cortex, if you peeled it back like an onion, it is the part of the brain that governs familial values, home life and your core personality. The reptilian brain simply governs the fight or flight responses, and the need to feed, procreate and the instinct to survive - when you fear death from a mugger or being fired and possibly becoming homeless and needing to struggle to eat food and find safe warm shelter, this triggers your fight or flight response and adrenaline rush.
When you make eye contact with a stranger on public transit and neither of you look away, this is a challenge of authority, the response within seconds will be to A) look away and feign distraction (look at your phone to see the time/text message, seek movement elsewhere or yawn/clear throat B) continue staring in hopes that they look away first - then C) fight for proof dominance.
If you think not, stare you father/mother down at the dinner table, see just how uncomfortable this makes you feel, unless this parent is cuck, this will result in one or the other reaction A) your parent will look back unwavering and you will accede to your senior den alpha, or their human cerebral cortex will register this action as a cry for help and their maternal instinct will supersede their pack role instinct to keep the table of dominance in check.
What this all means is, you are an animal. you think you are better than animals because you have culture, language and vast vast near omniscient knowledge of the universe you inhabit, but at the core you are just a dumb animal - how long you maintain eye contact with others determines your role within the greater wolfpack of the human race; are you a bitch, or are you an alpha?

Sorry bill, but pretty much. Dont fret though, we are not ALWASE alpha, it kind of alternates. That is what sets us aside from the animals, we can pick and choose our fights. You and me might stare eachother down, but if it came to fisticuffs, it'd be more beneficial for one of us to find an intellectual way to circumvent the potentially fatal meeting as society says that this is 'disturbing the peace', 'assault' and 'attempted manslaughter' - the instinct to survive should in a healthy male (or female) recognize these potentialities as a threat to the being and work with the higher brain functions to find an alternative to a battle to the death - besides, with the lovely cerebral cortex also came pride/ego the thing that makes a defeated opponent say stupid shit like "you lead with a sucker punch, I'd have cleaned his clock if only he'd have fought fair"
