Not really sure, it's kind of crazy, pups pupping from pups from pups, I think it might be damage induced pupping, its cool though. Thanks man, I think the new one I got is some type of pentagona. Any ideas?

I find out when I add BAP-6 to growth tip of cactus. It starts grow pups and pups had more pups and it just get like that all over. Not sure what happen to your plant but description matches.
Do those pups come from aeroles of young pups and so on?
I'm not sure how to tell difference that "bug-offshoot" and BAP-offshooting but that look like it have really got some BAP. Look the aeroles above tehy are going to burst open with similar pups soon.
Nice peyote plants.

That cactus that's pupping like a retard is a prime example of why people who don't know what they're doing should not use BAP.
Moving on from my little rant... Nice little whanau you got there 5is.
