so i plan on trying my first go at a bulk monotub grow.
i was wondering if there is a difference in wbs and brf as spawn??? i see most people use wbs so i assume there is some advantage??
im just so used to brf jars so it would be nice to stick with that if theres no significant difference in results. thanks!

Go for grains. They are so much easier that BRF. Most people use grains as they hold more water ans IMO produce more fruits with less problems....
I love this method if u are interested. Best of both worlds.

Whole grains. I'll even go out on a limb and say to pass right by WBS and go with rye or oats.

Grains colonize quicker than brf because you can shake them. However if you have the ability to produce clean LC or LI then brf can be colonized very quickly as well. Grains provide nutrition for longer as the myc has to work through and consume the grain from the outside in. This allows for better flushes later. However brf can complete a spawn run faster due to being able to be grated or blended before mixing which allows for a lot of inoculation points.
Most people get themselves a PC and hop into grains for their first bulk foray but, a mini mono can be spawned with as few as 8-10 cakes. So if your already set with cakes and wanna give bulk a try before committing to a PC then try a mini mono. They are sweet IMO.
