to lay me down
    #2150824 - 12/02/03 12:04 AM (14 years, 5 months ago)

am leaving for Seattle on Wed...... and as I listen to the Grateful Dead, I sob, 'cuz these lyrics express something so deep in me. they're so out of all all my ideals, they hit me in the gut, concerning a special partner..... because, where these feelings count, what more could i want? yet, still, i'm going..... a new big bang of stimulus.... haven't consulted the psychedelics experience in nearly exactly one year from today.... sorry for the soliliquy, just a live journal, if you will.
peace & hugs, cj

To lay me down
once more
To lay me down
with my head
in sparkling clover
Let the world go by
all lost in dreaming
To lay me down
one last time
To lay me down

To be with you
once more
To be with you
with our bodies
close together
Let the world go by
like clouds a-streaming
To lay me down
one last time
To lay me down

To lay me down
To lay me down
To lay me down
One last time
To lay me down

To lie with you
once more
to lie with you
with our dreams
entwined together
To lie beside you
my love still sleeping
to tell sweet lies
one last time
and say goodnight

to lay me down,
to lay me down
to lay me down
one last time
to lay me down
to lay me down
one last time
to lay me down

Everything is better than it was the last time.  I'm good.

If we could look into each others hearts, and understand the unique challenges each of us faces, I think we would treat each other much more gently, with more love, patience, tolerance, and care.

It takes a lot of courage to go out there and radiate your essence.

I know you scared, you should ask us if we scared too.  If you was there, and we just knew you cared too.

Hearing Jerry sing that song live was a high point of my life.
Not a dry eye in the house.

If I listened to To Lay me Down I would have had to pull over. You no what is real wierd CJ your enitilas CJ stands for my girls first and middle name. Saw her the other night at Phill down in Philly made me want to cry again. I am also heading out west soon. Going to go see Phill in CA. Then work up in the Mountains for a while.
