Pin mold alongside ANY spore germination

This is my first post here under this username and I am hoping that someone is kind enough to reply.
I recently purchased some spores from a local supplier. inoculated 36 jars of grains with 3 different strains (1 strain per dozen). Jars are quarts with RTV port and micropore tape. Jars sat without any signs of growth or contamination for 2 weeks. At about 16 days I saw my first signs of growth in a couple of the jars. Right beside any signs of fluffy white there was also a fuzzy gray growth as well that eventually turned out to be pin mold.
bout 3 weeks on now and any jar that has shown any sign of growth has also shown signs of pin mold right beside the myc growth. Nowhere has the pin mold started on its own but always right beside the myc.
It seems awfully unusual that any time a spore has germinated it has germinated right alongside pin mold but the pin mold has never presented itself on its own in any other jar.
In terms of sterile technique I am soaking grains for 24 hrs and PCing for 90 mins. Lysol wipe inside of SAB. Diluted bleach spray inside of SAB and paper towel on bottom. Room is isolated with no airflow and Lysol'd 2 times (once 2 hrs before and once 1 hr before work). I do all my work in a SAB. I shower immediately beforehand. Wear nitrile gloves. Alcohol sanitize hands. Flame with acetylene turbotorch in between jars.
I have had a number of successful multispore grows now and haven't encounter an issue like this until now. I should mention that I have never used spore syringes from this vendor before.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

sounds like dirty spores to me. if you get them on agar you can isolate away from the contam.

Yeah. I have no prior experience with agar but I have recently acquired the materials necessary and will be implementing the method as soon as new spores arrive.

That's almost certainly your spores being contaminated.

Yeah. I suspected as much. I suppose it's time to start using agar. Will be doing it in an SAB for the time being. Until I can afford a flow hood that is.
Thanks for the help.
