Do you ever read the "Terms and Agreement" before you tick the box?
    #21503442 - 04/04/15 05:41 PM (9 years, 1 month ago)

Is there anyone out there that reads that thing?

It is law abiding. You are actually agreeing with all that shit when you tick that box.

We should all read these things. But you know...

So?

Do you ever read that shit?
Do you read the terms and agreement section?
You may choose only one

i can't be bothered with that stupid shit.  those TOS things are too boring.  if they wanted us to read them they should make them easy to understand and have naked boobie pics.

how can i agree with something if i don't even read it?  what if my cat clicked the "i agree" box before i could even look at it?

With my face against the floor I can’t see who knocked me out of the way.
I don’t want to get back up but I have to so it might as well be today.
Nothing appeals to me no one feels like me, I’m too busy being calm to disappear.
I’m in no shape to be alone contrary to the shit that you might hear.

Hell no, and I really doubt you can be held legally for anything in it but you might have to sue them when they steal your money. Has that actually been tested? "the computer says he clicked it" is not the same as a signature. Might have been anyone who clicked. Might have checked and clicked the wrong box.

“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship.” (attributed to Alexis de Tocqueville political philosopher Circa 1835)

Sometimes i scan through the title of each section and if one section stands out (shroomery's clause to report anything and everything to the authorities, for example) then i'll read that section, but otherwise no. I really only read it if it's an account for a website that I'm making, no way in hell I'd read it for video games or something like that.

This is exactly what I do and I was even going to post about the Shroomery clause as an example.  I'll also try simple backdoors to see if I can get around the TOS or EULA, like clicking and unclicking the box or checking the box, going back, then forward again and then trying.  Occasionally these things work, most of the time they don't.

We've probably all heard stories of people getting fucked over because of some minor detail they either missed or didn't read in the T&A of some shit.

I normally just take my chances.
