Ok, so I have spent all day trying to find ingredients for a Petri dish and agar. So if you are in the Houston area this is where you go.
For the Petri dish I went to hobby lobby and bought Petri dish's You can also use 1/4 pint jars from Walmart.
For malt extract I went to "brew it yourself" off of i-45 north
I also got corn sugar (dextrose) there too, stores who sale self bew stuff will have these in stock they are commonly used in beer.
I went to hong kong market for fot telephone brand agar-agar. I also bought satelit "red agar -agar there as well.

Well I hope that is everything and this saves you time . If you aren't in Houston you can just search for similar stores.

I was more north, but made the drive to but my airlocks and corks from there. I'm so displaced now.

That was rayford/sawdust hobby lobby. Do they melt in pc? I haven't tried yet, because what is the point of Petri dish if you can't grow a steril culture of what you want?

Well, the polystyrene dishes, like the ones you have, are usually ordered presterilized in an enclosed sleeve. Your kit is for growing bacteria so they're not worried about being sterile. They might melt in the PC if they are polystyrene.
Your best bet is to get some glad mini rounds or really any plastic pp5 food storage container. (The recycling code will have a 5 in the triangles and PP underneath the triangle, "PP5") those won't melt in the PC and you can make a bunch the "No Pour" way. It's incredibly easy.
Here's the link for the write up on them.
