Recently had a lot of rain so thought I'd go for a wonder through the forrest. Forgive me for the unrotated images I TRIED TO FIX IT! Cant wait to get rid of my iPhone Habitat: Native New Zealand forrest, also pressent were many old pine trees, some dead. Pine cones littered everywhere. Auckland region. Temperatures 11-22C.
3 different mushrooms to ID. (There are a few pics at the end that I took but didnt bother IDing that I thought I'd share anyway... )
Mushroom 1. Was growing out of the roots of a HUGE dead and rotting pine tree. Looking forward to heading back there once the temp drops over the next few months.

Bad lighting and a shitty iPhone camera meant that it was difficult to capture the colour accurately till I got home, this pic below is the true colour.
Stem finger thick, very firm, not woody. Spore print was a failure as the mushroom was way too wet, and i used toilet paper..

Mushroom 2. was found a foot away from Mushroom 1. once again sorry for the poor quality photos. The cap colour isnt that bright... it was a soft pale brown on the edges and stronger brown in the centre/tip of cap.
No pick of the spore print but it was only partial and was dull brown in colour. Hollow stem the thickness of a lollipop/sucker. Slight discolouration going a dull grey at the bottom.
Mushroom 3. Same habitate growing on the path so I thought I'd harvest it before it got stood on. Picture captures its colour. All pure white save the brown on the tip and a slightly dull stem. No print came out (so possibly white) on the paper... hollow stem the thickness of a lollipop/sucker Im guessing maybe an inky but the cap looked a bit too 'solid'. (there were white inkys around)

Other sizing descriptions I think are observable through photos but if you want them I can provide.
Heres some more pics of fungi from the walk. It was really teaming with life, and death

White inky falling appart from rain.

Number 2 looks like an Entoloma species. The orange are probably Favolaschia calocera. A look at the underside would confirm.
