1/4 pint dumb mistake
    #21466006 - 03/27/15 03:26 PM (9 years, 1 month ago)

I failed to realise that I used 1/4 pint jars instead of 1/2 pint jars when I inoculated them using RR's BRF tek. I've been trying to fruit one for 6 days now with no signs of growth whatsoever. Can I expect anything to come out of this mistake? The mycelium is pretty old.

Thank you for your time!

Lol. I've used those jars with no issues. And my first grow took 3 weeks to fruit because I didn't let it consolidate properly.

Should get growth.  Just might have smaller yields.

Yeah man just because you used smaller jars does not mean that you wont get growth. You are just going to have a smaller substrate mass. If you followed the tek and built your jars right your going to be good to go just wait.

Nice! I'll keep my eye on it then. I think I've been overmisting lately so I'll watch the moisture a bit. I've been thinking something was wrong because it hasn't even grown into the verm casing layer at all. It is an old sample of mycelium though, so I know it's a bit slower than it should be.

Thanks for all the help!
