Trich, Loph, Saguaro, Dragonfruit and Ariocarpus Grow Log
    #21412095 - 03/15/15 04:18 PM (9 years, 2 months ago)

Ok here are a couple pictures I just took of a few tubs I'm growing in. They're very blurry I know and I'm sorry but I'm learning how to use a new camera other than this shitty phone so I'll have some better pics up soon enough.

But anyways these are good enough to tell how well the grow is going so I hope you enjoy.

These are some of my dragon fruit seedlings and hopefully I can find a fruiting one at some point if I find a way to grow them all out:rolleyes:

Here are some of my Trich Peruvianus Hybrids.

This is just a few of the Lophs that have sprouted so far.

Sorry again for the pics but I'll take some with my new camera soon.

Ok guys I wanted to update this with a few pics with a better quality. So here goes:grin:

Here are some of my Bridg hybrids, if you look closely you can see a few white seedlings in this pic.

Here is a closer pic of my white bridge. I have about 12 or more of them and they seem to have stopped growing as compared to their green counterparts.

Here are my dragon fruits. I got a great germination rate on these and I was hoping you guys could help me figure out a way to get these going well and hopefully collect some fruits.

Here are some of my lophs.

Here are just a few of my peruvianus hybrids.

And finally here is a pic of my saguaro seedling.

This isn't even a quarter of the seeds I have growing atm so be expecting a lot more pics in the near future:awesomenod:

BTW I will be updating and changing things in this thread to make this more educational in the future so expect some changes.

I think the tricho and loph growers unite has this covered already but anyways here's some bridgessi that's about 4 months old and is doing a lot better since its been in my greenhouse

Naw dude I just wanted to start a grow log to show how I ended up doing things with what was available around me. Nothing like the trich or Loph Growers unite.

Could be albino/variegated. If I were you I'd graft those suckas onto some pereskiopsis otherwise they might die, especially true if albinos. Plants devoid of chlorophyll, like albino plants, cannot photosynthesize on their own and will only live if grafted.

Everything else is looking mighty fine. Good work, keep it up Señor spaceman! :vineclimb:

Looking real good, Spaceman. The plants are a very healthy hue of green and the substrate looks very good. Keep it up, you're on the right way.

Damn thanks guys for all the replies:grin:

Does anyone have a link to a great tiny seedling grafting thread? I believe I know how to do it from some things I've seen on here in the past but I want to be sure especially since these things are absolutely tiny.

Just found some info on grafting but it says to place graft into humidity with low light. I have my peres in a container with 4 2ft 6500K lights so I was wandering is this a bad place to have my grafts setting?

light isnt a problem. Humidity is the key. The wound has to dry slowly over 4-5 days to allow the connexion to be made. Then after two weeks you'll see your seedlings turning red  !
