What kind of knife are you planning on getting, Logical Chaos?
Onezeros' knife is indeed beautiful. Love the shape of the blade as well as the beautiful handle/grip.
Anyone here know if I could change the grip on my Cold Steel I posted? And where I'd go about buying one?
I want to get rid of that somewhat ugly black plastic and have a semi-glossy oak grip.

unfortunately, your stuck with the scales that came with that knife. it uses a cold-steel proprietary locking system called the "tri-ad" lock
theoretically, professional (see: tuffthumbz youtube channel) knife customizers can make scales for tri-ad lock knives, but your gonna be paying 300$+ easy. and since the voyager is about a 40-80$ knife... and most other tri-ad locking knives are under 300$, its not really worth it
and oak especially hard to work with, the maker would probably have to crate custom steel liners so the scales wont break. oak is alot weaker than g-10

Honestly, i dont know where to start
There is so much variety of knifes out there, its mind boggling!
I guess i would start with the futuristic/sci fi looking ones now. really liking those.
Then maybe move to more traditional/historicaal knifes

like i mentioned before, bladeforums.com is alright, but youtube is another vast source of knife information. here are a few knife reviewrs i watch all the time. some of them review other things like guns, lighters, tobacco and other shit too, but their mostly knives
my top 3 knife channels - https://www.youtube.com/user/cutlerylover
https://www.youtube.com/user/nutnfancy
https://www.youtube.com/user/tuffthumbz
alot of their best knife videos are several years old, so dont be afraid to go back through old videos, their still pretty relevant

Thanks for the info. Like you stated, it's such a cheap knife (I payed just under $50 for it) that there's no way in hell I'd spend so much money just to make it look a little nicer.
Also, it doesn't have to be oak, I just wanted any type of wood as a grip in a semi glossy or maybe even matte finish.
I'm not into collecting knives at all really. I just have this one laying around for personal protection and for work but I would like to buy one nice knife that looks aesthetically pleasing to me soon.

Is your spring assisited blade on the right a CRKT?
and I think your Bowie knife is a buck knife unless the upper edge at the tip is a blade as well

the swedge (upper edge) isnt meant to be sharp. even if you buy an expensive or older bowie its not gonna be sharp enough to cut you unless an end user sharpened it on their own
mainly cause it doesnt need to be, and it would make the knife illegal to carry outdoors in some countries, including the US, cause it constitutes a "double edge" and they think that means it can only be used for violence

bow·ie knife ˈbo͞oē,ˈbōē/ noun a long knife with a blade double-edged at the point. https://www.google.com/search?hl=en-US&ie=UTF-8&source=android-browser&q=bowie+knife+define&gws_rd=ssl Knife laws are regulated by the state and not the feds. So double edged blades ARE legal in some states. Namely Oregon.

The second edge is to gut big game. Slice up, then slice through and down. One large straight clean cut without twisting or pulling out your knife. Keeping your meat from being pre-butchered.
