KEEP in mind i am not experienced grower I only want to learn and experiment and the only way to do that is to do it first hand... followed the brf Tek. Waited a week after full colonization. only introduced light to colonization every week on monday only when checking progress (a minute at most). after completion i birthed using the dunk (16 hours) and roll on 4 of 6 cakes. i used a PMP for one cake. crumbled and pasteurized with 100 % grade 2 vermiculite on another cake. i left one cake to fend for itself no food, FAE, or water, just light for 12 on 12 off to compare for a dying cake or contaminations. The final 3 cakes have been in a shotgun fruiting chamber that is barely up to par with holes, but enough for FAE and humidity to rise off the perlite. after about 2 weeks of no pinning i re dunked (12 hours) all but the cake to fend for itself. another 2 weeks and no pins still just more mycelium growth on the PMP. the Crumbled have turned from the beige colour into healthy white myc and has that smell we've all become to know as "mushroomy" the contamination cake has grown an exponential amount of mycelium only to become very squishy, deflate in size, and bruise bluish until a tint of green has come to the mycelium growth. lastly my other cakes have been in the FC for 2 weeks daily misting up and to the side to let the mist cover the cake and not form puddles, fanning more than misting. temperature is 78 F during daylight hours and 69 - 72 F during nighttime. i have a pathetic excuse for a hygrometer but it reads up to 95 % mainly during night time and about 90 with misting during day. these are the Hualta Cubes. which honestly to me there just a Cube. water evaporates off the cakes. Im not worried extremely I just wanna know what should i do next time, or what i can do now to help with my external life forms. if all else fails, i plan to bury my brethren in the ground with some shade and dark and humid climate, its rainy season here now, but it tends to turn to snow within a night, back to sunny, back to rain, back to sun. pics won't zoom, pmp's are horrible for having a constant high rh which mycelium tends to like some flucuations, i would pop the lid off for an hour or so a couple times a day and give them a good misting, i would get yourself a sgfc to play with, much easier then a pmp

That is not a SGFC and it is not up to par. You are not supplying the correct fruiting conditions.
Ditch your PMP. Take your cakes out of that thing you call a SGFC and drill the proper holes to turn it into an actual SGFC. Look up the tek and build it correctly if you want any success.
There is no need to have a test cake that you are trying to contaminate for shits and giggles... You should have just built a proper SGFC and fruited all your cakes in there. Don't build a PMP, it's a waste of time and money because a proper SGFC works way better.
