Mushroom ID - Vancouver Island

Habitat: Growing on pine needles, Gulf Islands - Vancouver Island.
Is this a variety of lactarius? Stem was fuzzy and cap texture was similar to felt.

As with many mushrooms, microscopic analysis is usually needed to determine exact species but I think yours could be Laccaria laccata.
