Just set up my first martha and have this humidifier sitting on the top shelf > http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Ultrasonic-Cool-Mist-Air-Humidifier-5-8L-Black-/251721780755?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_15&hash=item3a9bc98e13
I was wondering if this would supply enough FEA? If not would cutting two segments in the top of the 4 tier shade house pull fresh air in as the water vapor falls to the bottom of the fruiting chamber creating a pulling motion on the top of the FC?

This was before I controlled the vapor issue

My digital hygrometer says 60% RH when I know its higher, I can hardly see through the plastic. Does it produce enough FEA for you though? or have you modified the greenhouse?

that works by using a fogger disc. there is no air exchanges happening with that kind of unit, especially since its inside ur martha on the top u need to cut holes, or look up Franks GH TEK, which would require an additional purchase of a "cool mist" (evaporative) humidifier on the bottom running 24/7, or close to it. if its hot where u are, i would still poke holes at the top.

What he said ^ Ultrasonics provide zero air exchange. They also will oversaturate your martha if you have it running too much. You can run a coolmist 24/7 to provide constant humidity and air exchange. An ultrasonic you pretty much have to run on a timer ~5-10 minutes every hour or else you WILL oversaturate. You also need some air exchange, so you could stick a fan on the bottom and cut slits in the plastic. I would just advise get a coolmist and run that, as well as slits in the plastic.

Would a air stone in a bowl of water at the bottom of the martha work well for FEA?

Not as well as a small fan on bottom shelf pointing up. Those small 8" diameter desk fans would be ideal. U will still need the ultra sonic for humidity. Or poke holes. Look up "pussyfart" GH tek. He used small fans, but in different way
The air stone is under water. Barely any turbulence will be created
