I got a cutting as an extra freebie. This thing has died back to the stem at least twice now, from outdoor conditions & neglect...always coming back with a little tlc. Pretty resilient they seem. I've got it tied up now, it's stretching and top heavy. Contemplating "topping" it.
Alas, none of the seeds I tried ever germinated.

EDIT: It was about 4-5 inches tall when I got it, it's about a year old. Obviously stunted several times. It's just recently took off again after bringing it back inside, I should be feeding it more than I do as well.

Damn that's good to know how resilient they are. That's too bad about not being able to germinate them. I've used both the glass of water and the paper towel method and had 80% germ, those are just the farthest along.Quote:

They were reputed as viable. It could have been a number of things. I consider myself to have the "green thumb" (as much as I dislike that expression) but i'm certainly no professional or expert.
I had just about given up on it several times, but new growth would always show. Those fat tubular roots store some potential apparently.

Looks good!
Are you looking to make a snuff from the seeds?

In a tropical climate my anadenantheras (cebil and yopo) have reached ~5ft in two years or so, they're pretty solid little guys, who'll be solid big guys very soon!
