BRF Cakes
    #21431901 - 03/19/15 04:00 PM (9 years, 2 months ago)

Hey all just thought I'd share what I have going on right now.

Some good old BRF cakes! :awedance:

I have 12 jars going inoculated with a MS syringe, they are on day 11. I plan on spawning some of them to a bulk substrate and giving a go at an open air fruit.

Here are 3 Jars that have shown growth so far.

Very Nice. And you even used the right jars. I used the tall ones and it took 5 weeks for colonization. Rock on man, keep us updated.

Yeah man I will for sure. The jars are definitely a key factor when it comes to a nice colonization. I'm not sure I really decided if I will spawn any to bulk. I really want to give that a try but if all goes well this will be the most jars I've had at once. So it'd be nice to see what my SGFC is capable of when it's full.

11 Days for that amount of growth is not slow for an MS to BRF cake. I saw first signs of growth for those in 6days. My other grows it took 14days to see any signs of germination. So this is actually going pretty fast. I'm excited.
