Some coo myc I thought Id share.

The culture that looks like it has a colony, is a little piece of wedge I accidentally dropped, I thought it was cool how they joined seemlessly.

The really weird one is a PE inoculation plate from syringe, it looks real strange and cool.

The AA clone looks better in person, its super pretty as is the ps. Mexicana plate, you cant see it but its pretty 3d and when the light shines througg it is is so delicate white its gorgeous. Like snow on a tree branch. Really pretty myc

 maybe Im high

Dude hate to break it you but are you certain those are tamps? They really don't look at all like tamps to me  Pretty sure those are cubes. Tamps won't develop thick stipes like that or cap like those - they are more like mex and galindoi. I am 90% sure those are cubes. Not sure where you got the spores for those but it might be contaminated with cube spores or mislabelled.

Check out these pics from stonesun. I think you're going to be waiting a long time for stones

i thought that at first too, but i don't see any veils?  caps look a bit darker grey.

i figured they got that thick because it was a cake/more nutritious.

You can see veils in the caps that are still closed - they must be tearing early which could suggest contam which might also explain the tiny fruits.

I think in section mexicana more nutrients means more fruits not (much) larger ones. The more I look back over stonesun's tamp grows the more certain I am these are cubes.

yea, i can definitely see what u mean, but i still don't see remnants of a veil after breaking.  the caps on immature fruits seem to dark to be cubes.
but I'm no taxonomist

pulled a thread of rhizomorphic growth from agar and put it on a slide. as you can see there's quite a lot going on in even a small little sliver. here's the elusive clamp connection

I think the veils are there but the image quality is too low to see them but I can make out what looks like remnants of veils. Better quality pic boodog? Use a flash so it isn't blurry from low light or shine a bright light on it first.

I'm no taxonomist either but I'm certain section mexicana fruits don't go bowling pin shaped when they form pins - they form beautiful branching clusters like in cArcace-x's galindoi pics from earlier on.
